These are common widescreen masks that I built in Photoshop. These masks will come in handy when using a 4x3 field monitor with a 4x3 camera. Display the mask on the monitor and tape the mask border. Now you have the correct apect ratio to properly frame your image. I included the separate image files, as well as a self contained Mpeg2 file that can be sent to a DVD authoring application.
